Erlebnishotel Etoile

The hotel is far away ( 25 min. walk ) from the ski slopes , but there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. Ski-room is provided at the slopes so you dont have to travel with you ski material.
The advantage of being far awy from the centre of town is the quietness.

The owners Rolf and Danielle and their staff do anything they can to make your stay as nice as possible. Both are exceptionally service minded.

No great luxury but very good meals with sometimes a nice local touch. ( fondue / raclette ) Breakfast is great.

The owner has a daily activity programm for those who want to be entertained. Activities take place in the afternoon and later at night. Try to participate now and then. The activities are worthwile. ( concert at the behrenfall-hutte / night sledging / ski school demo / ... )
Never went to the sauna. There is no disco but there is a special play-room for adults ( traditional and ancient swiss games ) as well as for kids.

Rooms are equiped with all the comfort one needs for a week stay. No great luxury but more than sufficient. Recentky renewed with TV an shower. Very clean. Etoile is a smaller "human scale" hotel.

We went to several accomodations in Saas-Fee. Since tree years we go to Erlebniss hotel Etoile. I can recemmend it to all those who want a nice stay with a certain comfort in an friendly environment.
