125 years ago a building number thirteen appeared on Svobody av. It was a modern Hotel at the outset of its long and fascinating history. The building was one of the first in the town to get electric lighting, and the most respected Lviv elite artists, writers, and journalists; used to gather here. Earlier, an Austrian man of letters Leopold von Sacher-Masoch was born in this very building. Today, the Grand Hotel combines the austerity of classic and the elegance of modern, creating a special atmosphere of comfort and coziness.
