Das WA ist ein großartiges Hotel mit tollen Zimmern, indem ich mich auch bei meinem 2. Aufenthalt sehr wohlgefühlt habe! Im Gegensatz zum 1. Aufenthalt war die Aufmerksamkeit im Service nicht auf dem höchsten Level. Die Nähe zum Golf Club ist ein großer Vorteil! Das Essen im Lexington Restaurant ist exzellent!
Die Zimmer sind im Vergleich zum europäischen „Standard“ sehr groß und geräumig und perfekt ausgestattet!
Chef Alex hat eine perfekte kulinarische Reise mit korrespondierenden Weinen gezaubert! Großartig!
Während meines Aufenthalts im Jan. 2025 wurde mir jeder Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen, noch bevor ich ihn ausgesprochen hatte! Zuletzt im März 2025 war der Service gut, aber sicher nicht perfekt! Das ist Klagen auf ganz hohem Niveau! Wenn das Zimmer um 16 Uhr bei Ankunft noch nicht fertig ist, kann ich damit leben! Wenn dann aus angekündigten 20 Min Wartezeit 40 Min werden, ist das nicht optimal für ein Hotel des Brands Waldorf Astoria!
Vom Flughafen DWC sind es ca. 1:20 Min bis zum Hotel! Diesmal bin ich Abu Dhabi gekommen, sodass die Fahrt 2:30 Uhr gedauert hat! Das Hotel liegt außerhalb von Ras al Khaimah am Al Hamra Golf Club! Insofern ist das Hotel für Golfer und Strandurlauber gleichermaßen gut geeignet!
