Kein Haartrockner, keine minibar, Zimmer und Größe okay, Daily housekeeping bringt keine neuen Handtücher, die alten werden stattdessen im eigenem Zimmer gewaschen( mit der angepriesenen Waschmaschine,ca.9h Dauer täglich) , das allerschlimmste sind aber die RATTEN!!!Wechsel in anderes Appartement nicht möglich, dort nämlich ebenfalls Ratten, Geldanteil gab es auch nicht zurück...Der Strand ist direkt gegenüber, Tauchlehrer haben meiner Familie abgeraten dort baden zu gegen aufgrund der Vielzahl an hochgiftigen steinfischen, gegen die nicht einmal badeschuhe helfen. Nur wifi inklusive Lieber ein anderes hotel buchen!

Dear guest, We are sad to read that you did not enjoy on your stay at Cape Bay Luxury Beach Apartments. We do our utmost to make the stay of our guests comfortable and it seems that we did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify a few points highlighted in your review for future guests: - We offer self-catering apartments. As such, we do have the facilities or services of a hotel: we do not have minibars, guests have a full-equipped kitchen with a full-size fridge where they can store their groceries. The complex offers a swimming pool with sun loungers and a fitness center. However we can organize activities around the island. - Since your stay with us, we are now providing hair dryers and telephone in all the apartments. - Towels are changed every three days, we externalize all the washing of towels and bed sheets to a professional Dry Cleaning company. All apartments are cleaned daily but this doesn't include washing the dishes (our apartments have a dishwasher) or personal laundry (there are a washing machine and a dryer). - The beach opposite the complex is the public beach of Bain Boeuf. We are quite surprised by this remark as, to this date, we are not aware of any stone fish issues (no complaints or similar feedback from guests or local fishermen) and the Mauritius Tourism Authority and Beach Authority have never released any warning on this. - The complex is close to other beaches, enjoyed by tourists and locals alike like the Pereybere beach, La Cuvette beach, Serenity Beach... - Lastly Mauritius is a tropical island. We follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Tourism as regards to pest control but no accommodation provider can prevent them at 100%. Since we operate (2012), we had 3 reports of field mouses in the complex. Each time this has been dealt with timely by the syndic. As regards to moving to another units, unfortunately at the time of your stay, we were at full occupancy and not able to meet your request. With warm regards, Marion Guest Relations Manager
