Das Haus, das an einer vielbefahrenen lauten Straße steht, hat seine besten Jahre offensichtlich hinter sich. Die Zimmer haben alte Teppichböden. Nachts hört man nicht nur lautes Scheppern vom Dach, sondern auch WC und Duschgeräusche von den Nachbarzimmern.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war nicht besonders abwechslungsreich. Wurst und Schinken rochen fast jeden Tag alt, ebenso wie das Rührei. Das Obst war okay, auch Cappuccino und Cafe latte, den das Personal mal nach wenigen Sekunden brachte, mal nach zehn Minuten und manchmal auch komplett vergaß...
Mit Fahrrad oder Auto erreicht man die wunderschönen Ziele rund um den Gardasee. Das Hotel selbst ist dem starken Autoverkehr und dem lauten Motorradverkehr ausgesetzt.

We’re sorry you weren’t totally satisfied with your stay, nevertheless we are able to reply to some of your concerns. The Hotel Villa Maria is a very charming and historical property and features very elegant and typical furnishings. When you complained about the soundproofing in your room (which is, by the way, more than adequate), we offered to provide you with a room change. You declined our offer. The breakfast service is actually provided with a very wide range of choice and an excellent quality of the ingredients. You were actually served coffee many times every day and we witnessed you enjoying our breakfast, so the review is quite inexplicable to us. The swimming cap is compulsory due to hygiene reasons, which we are sure you understood. We’re glad, anyway, you appreciated the location of Hotel Villa Maria, conveniently situated near many beautiful destinations on Lake Garda.
