Das Hotel ist eine Oase der Ruhe im vibrierenden Dschibuti. Die Anlage ist extrem gepflegt und besonders der Pool und seine Umgebung ist entspannend. Der Strand ist nicht nutzbar weil das Wasser sehr seicht ist und überall Seegras liegt. Rund um die Anlage selbst ist nichts was fussläufig erreichbar wäre. Der Komfort den das Kempinski bietet hat aber seinen Preis und derbist nicht gerade niedrig. Verglichen mit den Preisen anderer Hotels in Dschibuti aber wohl gerechtfertigt.
