Hotel Hammock Beach Resort

What a beautiful place this is and could be. We visited from Germany for the second time and this time we were a little disappointed. As they couldn't offer us a two bedroom unit we took a 3 Bedroom in the north towers. They are newer and nicer they explained us at the booking. Well, they are nice, no doubt, but only the master bedroom faces the ocean, the other two are looking at the hallway and you always need light in the room - even during daytime. The livingroom is large, nobody needs that much space. The television is hooked up the wall - so high you get a stiff neck if you watch TV for an hour or two. The unit was not too clean, somehow dusty at spaces and the floor was so dirty, if you spilled water down, you got black marks.We asked for a cleaning and they explained to us, that we do not get cleaning every day, only once in the 8 days we stayed. In short hard words they explained us, that we booked the "tower Experience" and this does not include cleaning. When I mentioned that nobody had told me before and that the price of 800$ per night seems enough for having someone to clean the unit they almost laughed about us. The houses are somehow not connected with eachother, so you have to walk outside to get to the main building, only through the garage might be a path, where you dont get wet when it is raining. We wanted to reach the south pool because this seems to be a quiet spot. The walk there takes about 10 minutes and we had to pass through a convention in our bathing outfits. And then at this pool were no towlels. We called from the service phone and after half an hour they brought pool towels. Sometimes we thought what kind of an architect worked in there.... The main icecold pool was quite loud because of the children but you could not find a chair at 10am!!! Other guests go there and reserve the chairs with towels and private stuff. The next day they did not want to give us more than one towel because of this problem. I really got mad and told the guy, he should watch the chairs and take the personel belongings away after an hour of not using the chairs, He is alone was his answer. I could go on with my complaints but this would be too much. This is a beautiful place where there are also many owners of units staying. But I would not buy anything there as long as the management of the complex doesn't work harder - or different. Overall we found that the service is not very good and the people working there are not willing to do more than they have to.

Gut eingerichtet, sehr große Einheiten, Küchen voll ausgestattet, Balkon klein, Sauberkeit soweit OK, etwas staubig.

Teures Restaurant - Preis/Leistung nicht OK

Man bemüht sich, mehr nicht Zimmer nicht sehr sauber aber erträglich Auf Beschwerden wird reagiert.

Direkt am Strand Nächster internationaler Flughafen Orlando - ca. 2-3 Stunden Fahrzeit Lebensmittel 10 Min. Malls etwas dürftig, die nächste wirklich interessante Mall ist in Charleston

Pool überfüllt, viel zuwenig Liegen. Auch die Amerikaner besetzen Liegen :-) Wasser eiskalt Tolle Golfplätze !!!! Greenfee für Hotelgäste erträglich
