Hotel Majestic Saigon

Haben uns sehr auf dieses Hotel gefreut. Die Suite an sich ist eigentlich sehr schön und geräumig, aber es nützt alles nichts, wenn man vom Hotelpersonal beklaut wird. Uns wurde aus dem verschlossenen Safe nur eine geringe Menge Bargeld entommen, aber trotzdem ärgerlich. Wie bereits von einem anderen Gast hier beschrieben (siehe Bewertungen "ungenügend"), hat der Manager die Videoaufzeichnung überprüfen lassen. Ein Gerät zum Auslesen des Safes war angeblich nicht vorhanden, obwohl diese Möglichkeit bei diesem Safe bestand. Der Balkon verbindet drei Zimmer miteinander. Im Zimmer nebenan wird gebaut und die Balkontür dort scheint immer offen zu sein. Als wir gegen 13:30 Uhr wieder kamen, war unser Zimmer noch nicht geputzt. Durch die Videoaufzeichnung konnte aber festgestellt werden, dass die Frau, welche den täglichen Obstkorb bringt, während unserer Abwesendheit zweimal im Zimmer war. Es kann sein, dass sie die Balkontür bewusst aufgesperrt hat, sodass jemand rein kommen konnte und beim zweiten mal wieder verschlossen hat. Es gibt keine Videoüberwachung für die Balkonseite. Auf der obersten bzw. 5 Etage (altes Gebäude) sind die Balkontüren nicht sehr sicher. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass man die Türen hier oben auch aufbrechen kann. Die Balkontüren der unteren Etagen machen einen bessern Eindruck, obwohl auch diese Balkons von mehreren Personen zugänglich sind. Alles sehr komisch! Hotel scheind Sicherheitslücken zu haben. Bitte überprüfen Sie hier genau die Menge an Geld, welche Sie in den Safe tun. Kann sein, dass nur ein Teil davon genommen wird, sodass es nicht gleich auffällt. For english speaking guests: Money stolen for locked safe – systematic theft ! We really looked forward to our stay in this hotel. The hotel and its suite made a good expression, however unfriendly staff. Nonetheless, on our last day of our stay money was stole from the locked safe box in our room. Another guest has also reported this on trip advisor, please check evaluation “terrible”. As we left the room early in the morning we locked the safe. As we got back at around 1:30 pm, the safe was open and cash was stolen (Euro and Dong). Room was not cleaned yet. The manager checked the surveillance video and the lady who brings the daily fruit basked was in the room twice. We had a suite in the top floor (5. level) of the old building. The floors of the hotel have video surveillance. However, the rooms also have a balcony door to the back. There is no suiveillance. The balcony connects three rooms, meaning all three room have access to the same balcony. In the room next to us, someone was doing construction work. The door was opened every time we went on the balcony. Could be that the lady with the fruit basket went into roo the first time to unlocked the balcony door and locked it on her second entrance. The way the manager handled this case was unprofessional. Everything was very very strange. The safe in our room can be readout and, thereby, check if the safe has been opened and what time. We had to ask the manager to do so. To our surprise he agreed and got his colleque who has the necessary equipment. We went to our room with the manager and his colleque and equipment to read out the safe. As we arrived, we were told, that our safe cannot be read out with the hotels equipment, which we the staff had brought to the room and that there was allegeable no other equipment existing at hotel. Strange that just now this one cannot be read out. Overall we had the feeling that something was absolute wrong, as we talked to two managers and other staff. Always check just how much money you put in the safe Vietnamese currency or other currency). Could be that they just take a little amount of cash, so that it won’t be recognized immediately. Hotel seems to have security problems and betrayal employees. So please be careful when travelling with kids, would not leave them alone in the rooms at any time.
