Hotel Roselands

Dear Cathrin good morning from Roseland's Kos. With great surprise I read your comments regarding Roseland's for your summer 2018 holidays that came after 6(!!!!) months but-also- for the meaning of your comments. Let's start from the beginning with your points. Rooms:If the beds were too hard for you you could report it to the reception to get another room with softer mattresses.We do have those, yousee!!!!For your information, there are clients who ALSO complaint about soft mattresses(very few though...)Please clarify what do you mean by"reine Hoelle" for the bathroom.It is the standard of a 3* bathroom as far as the size is concerned.Or maybe you forgot that you booked and PAID for a 3* hotel???Towels are to be changed every third day according to the description of the hotel, if you have read it. Service:If I accept your point that the Reception staff was not helpfull(only for you, very strange.....)you could easily ask to see someone else like the Reception supervisor or the Manager(something that you did not do!!!!Also your last possibility was to speak with your tour guide and tell her yor problems(???).That also you did not do.And you come now after 6 months to complan about practically EVERYTHING........ Food:We do have a menu program which is NOT the same for breakfast,lunch and dinner as you state.I remind you that we have THREE theme nights in our F/B program: one Greek night with Greek music and dances(Wednesday),one BBQ night (Friday) and one Italian night(Monday).Propably you were out of the hotel those days and you didn't notice them. Sports and entertainment:We do advertise a beach volley court at the hotel, which is there for you to use.No other sport facility or activity is advertised.Do NOT forget we are not a club hotel. Entertainment:On Wednesday Greek night with music and dancers ,on Friday piano music at the pool bar and on Sunday disco night.What is missing for your entertainment...?????A theater act maybe???But as I mentioned before we are NOT a club hotel... Finally for your conclusion that you will never come back to this hotel. My feeling is you deserve a much better hotel with all the elements you compain about for Roseland's(bigger room and bathroom, better quality and more food, more sports and entertainment as well as better service.There are a few hotels close to Roseland's also far from it with all these.Still you have to think that you have to pay a significant higher price to book there.If you can afford it that is where you should book next time.It is not fair(and logical) to book a low budget 3* hotel and demand services and quality of a 5* hotel... When you buy a vw Polo(which is a perfect ca) you do NOT expect to drive a Porsche............ Thank you for your attention
