If you are looking for great shopping, lots of nightlife and somewhere very busy and hectic then Zauchensee is not for you. However, if you are after great skiing on your hotel doorstep, minimal lift queuing, and a good ski school then this is a perfect resort. And the Salzburger Hof is an excellent hotel. There really isn't anything about this hotel that could be improved. The food and wine are superb, the staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms are fabulous. We have been to this hotel 3 times now as a family with two young children and we can highly recommend it.
