Hotel Schattauer

Very nice, pleasant, family run hotel perfectly located in centre of Wagrain. Service very precise, hospitality excellent, food delicious, many excursion possibilities in vicinity. Rooms very comfortable and clean, staff so helpful and polite. Ideal starting point for summer hiking in nearby mountains, discovering lot of amenities in the area or just enjoying in beautiful fresh air. Ski bus stop just accross the street (for winter holidays). Own parking lot and heated ski equpment room also available. Tipp: hotel is situated right at the main crossing in Wagrain (directions Flachau-St. Johann-Kleinarl) so if one has sleeping issues, ask for a room at the back side (or in guest house just couple of minutes away) as traffic gets quite noisy sometimes.
