Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort

Nice place, friendly waiters, good, except for the fact that when I checked in I was told that the booking I had (and had paid for, and had all the paperwork for) was not going to be available for me and that - due to the fact that I was staying only for a short time and that I was in the UAE a lot - a 375 AED supplement (about 75 Euros) per night was charged. No amount of pointing to the exisiting and already paid for reservation would do, I was told to either pay or NOT get the room. Standing there, shortly before midnight I had little choice but to pay. There is little you can do, and sueing for the money afterwards is also not going to work (its not Germany where rules are fixed and apply to everyone the same)
