Hotel in der Wüste direkt am Strand. Nichts drumherum, hat nur einen einzigen kleinen Shop mit Parfum, in dem man keine Zigaretten oder irgendwelche Mitbringsel kaufen kann. Um etwas zu kaufen muss man in die nächste Stadt cca 15 km fahren. Hat angeblich schoenes Hausriff das man in der Zeit als wir da waren wegen hohen Wellen nicht nutzen konnte. Auf die Bitte an Rezeption mir ein Taxi zu bestellen um zum cca 5 km entfernten Riff zu fahren (Kosten cca 10 Euro) würde mir gesagt das Waere zu meiner eigenen Sicherheit nicht moeglich, ich könnte nur mit dem Tauchzentrum des Hotels dahin kommen fuer 35 Euro pro Person also 70 Euro fuer uns beide.

Teils ein wenig chaotisch aber im grossen und Ganzen gut.
Fahrt von Flughafen Hurghada cca 2 Stunden direkt am Strand.

Gibt wenn man Steg zum schnorcheln nicht nutzen kann wegen Wellen, wie bei uns, so gut wie keine Freizeitangebote ausser Strand, Massagen die nicht unbedingt gut sind oder teure Ausflüge ueber Dive Center, da es nicht gewünscht ist billig selbst zu nahegelegenen Riffs zu fahren wo man wirklich fuer 5 Euro Eintritt am Tag ein tolles Riff hat uns gut schnorcheln kann.

Dear Richard, Greetings from ONATTI Beach Resort - Marsa Alam, First of all, thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are glad that you enjoyed your vacation with us. Yes, our hotel is a beach resort, but close to the city, only 16 kms away. When the sea waves are high, you could always use the first ladder, that gives you access to our house reef and a small natural lagoon, where you can snorkel. For our guests safety and as advised from the ministry, if a guest wants to snorkel in a bay outside the hotel, and without the escort of the diving center, you must sign a form that you are going on your own responsibility. We are only following procedures for your own safety at our country. As for the shop, we are working on it and we will sell soon all products needed in our hotel. You will not have to go outside.
