Pickalbatros Palace Hotel-Port Ghalib

This hotel is just fabulous! First of all, personnel is so kind and knows immediately your preferences, their service is topnotch. I spent a week on my own and they were very personal yet not at all in an intruding way. They made me feel very welcome and safe. The interior and exterior decoration is beautiful. Beautiful tapestries, lights and furniture. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Food is wonderful with an enormous selection and every evening there is a different theme. Having b'fast and dinner at the terrace overlooking the pool and the sea is heaven. The lookout bar (view over the lagoon) is a nice, relaxing and an elegant spot to have a nice cocktail. The private beach has many beds, separated by fenches that protect you from the wind. Snorkling is nice. The pool is heated: very welcome. Also the spa provides wonderful massages. If you look for a relaxing time and no loud music and entertainment the whole day through, yet peace quiet and quality, i (and im a frequent traveler and visitor of high end hotels) would highly recommend this sublime and elegant hotel.

Room is spacious, large bed with Egyptian linen. Spacious bathroom w/ walkin shower and bath. Very clean. Enough towels. Room has minibar and hot water boiler for tea and coffee. Flat screen TV.

One bar, one restaurant in hotel, one pool bar/restaurant. Good food and drinks. All very clean. Elegant settings and atmosphere. Quiet and peaceful.

Personnel is very friendly, provides perfect service. Speak english, french. Rooms and hotel very clean.

Everything is extremely close. Beach, airport, shopping, little nightlife, few restaurants.
