Dear Hans and Eva, Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. We are pleased to read that you have enjoyed your room, the food, service and resort facilities. We have however noted that you were disappointed with the ocean and swimming experience. The unspoiled bay of Haute Rive is bordered with Mangroves plants in some areas and is the natural habitat for many species of fish and marine life. It is in fact a protected zone. The resort offer an array of complimentary water sport activities such as glass bottom boat outings, snorkeling trips (to the turquoise area only a few meters away) pedal boats, windsurfing, stand-up paddle, see-through kayaks and hobby Cat for our guest to enjoy. An extensive list of experiences such as Star Gazing, Discovery tour to Flacq Market, River Kayak Expeditions among others is also available.
