SBH Hotel Royal Monica

Booked through Hays Travel who did not inform us that it was mainly a German hotel. When reading reviews of this hotel i was a little concerned about my stay. On arrival to the hotel the reception staff were very helpful and friendly considering the time of night, our room was clean and spacious and was cleaned 5 days a week. Food was always reasonable and i always found something i liked though the English translations to what is was kept us amused . . . if you can work out what Billboard is you will be fine :D. Pool area has enough sun loungers most days they spread out down to the beach, pool bar open most of the day and night supplying drinks, and snacks. With great bar staff that are helpful and friendly and are every1s friends as they supply the alcohol yey! Entertainment team put on shows and activities all day and night except saturdays. All singing all dancing which is what most people expect, though all in German which can be a bit annoying but most of it I understood. Anna, Marer and Mel made us feel welcome and involved in games, shows and nights out. Very good team overall !! 2 weeks well spent and would advise people not to be put off by bad reviews !

Food reasonable always found something to eat. Though translations were a little difficult to understand sometimes :)

Nice area though apporx 1hr walk from Playa Blanca
