Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem tollen Hotel! Die Auswahl an Essen war riesig und das Personal war äußerst freundlich. Das Hotel war hygienisch und sehr sauber, sodass wir uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Es gibt an der Hotelanlage wirklich nichts zu bemängeln. Auch das Gym ist wirklich toll. Es gibt ausreichend Liegen, sodass (eigentlich) keine Liegen reserviert werden müssen. Hotelmitarbeiter achten auch darauf, dass keine Liegen reserviert werden. Der einzige Minuspunkt war der Strand. Wir lieben das Meer und fahren deswegen in den Urlaub, doch leider war es aufgrund der Einheimischen (Massais) kaum möglich, es zu genießen. Die Einheimischen lassen einen nicht in Ruhe, warten, bis man die Hotelgrenze überschreitet, möchten einem etwas verkaufen und akzeptieren kein „Nein“. Bei der Flut werden viele Essensreste angespült, die die Hotelmitarbeiter in Schubkarren wegschaffen (der Strand ist leider öffentlich). Man möchte sich als Tourist am Strand frei bewegen, doch dies ist leider kaum möglich. Am Strand befinden sich Verkaufsstände von den Einheimischen, und obwohl man ihnen gerne etwas abkaufen würde, sind sie sehr aufdringlich, was leider einschränkend und beängstigend ist. Security vorhanden.
Lange Anfahrt zum Hotel. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind weit entfernt.

Regarding your feedback about the beach, we understand your perspective and appreciate the opportunity to clarify. As in all of Zanzibar, the beach in front of the resort is public by law. While this allows for a vibrant cultural interaction, we understand it can sometimes feel overwhelming. Our security team is always present to ensure guests feel safe and supported, particularly when moving beyond the hotel’s private beach area. We also want to mention that we have a dedicated system in place to clean the beach twice daily. However, natural elements like the tides are beyond our control, and high tide can occasionally bring organic materials ashore. Interestingly, this natural rhythm of the ocean also provides local communities with opportunities, such as collecting seaweed, which is part of their traditional way of life and supports their income.
