Allgemein

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay at Tropitel Dahab Oasis Resort. We take all reviews seriously and regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we must address several inaccuracies in your comments to provide clarity for future guests and to fairly represent our property and practices. Location and Accessibility: You mentioned our location as being "in the middle of nowhere" and the transfer time as an issue. Tropitel Dahab Oasis is situated just 8 km from Dahab city center, a fact clearly stated on all booking platforms, including HolidayCheck, and in our promotional materials. This serene setting is intentionally chosen to offer a peaceful retreat, ideal for relaxation and water activities like snorkeling and diving, which you acknowledged as a highlight. We provide a complimentary shuttle bus service to the city center multiple times daily. As this information is transparent prior to booking, it is surprising and unjustified to raise this as a complaint after choosing our resort. Sustainability and Outdoor Areas: We are proud to be a certified eco-friendly resort, recognized for our commitment to sustainability and preservation of Dahab’s pristine natural environment. Your comment about sparrows in the outdoor dining area overlooks the fact that we operate in harmony with the local ecosystem, which includes native wildlife. Guests are welcome to dine comfortably inside our air-conditioned restaurant, where no such interactions occur. Complaining about natural elements in an open-air setting, especially in a region celebrated for its untouched beauty, seems misplaced and does not align with the expectations of a guest choosing an eco-conscious property. Room Expectations and Behavior: You booked an Economy Room, our most affordable category, which is accurately described and priced on all platforms. While we strive to maintain all rooms to a high standard, your description of the room condition appears exaggerated. Our housekeeping logs show daily cleaning was performed, and any reported issues (such as the bathroom drainage) were addressed within hours when brought to our attention. Your claim of forgotten towels and coffee/tea refills is not reflected in our records, and we encourage guests to report such oversights immediately for prompt resolution. Additionally, your dissatisfaction seems partly tied to our inability to provide a free room upgrade, which you requested upon arrival. We explained that the hotel was fully booked—a common occurrence during peak season—and could not accommodate this without charge. Using a negative review to pressure for an upgrade after booking the lowest category is inappropriate and undermines the fairness of the booking process. Regarding the cleaning staff’s break area, we apologize if their presence caused disturbance; however, our logs indicate no formal complaint was raised during your stay, which would have prompted an immediate solution, such as relocating you if feasible. Dining and Service: We are sorry to hear about your perception of the restaurant as chaotic. Our all-inclusive offerings are designed to provide variety and quality, with daily themed menus, fresh organic produce from our on-site farm, and rigorous hygiene protocols (certified by monthly audits). Tables and chairs are cleaned between seatings, and any isolated oversight can be corrected instantly if reported. Our staff are trained to be both friendly and engaged, and the overwhelmingly positive reviews on HolidayCheck and other platforms attest to their dedication. We regret that you did not experience this, but without specific details shared during your stay, it’s challenging to address your concerns retroactively. We are committed to continuous improvement and have noted your feedback for internal review. However, it is critical that guests communicate issues directly during their stay, as this allows us to act swiftly. We also encourage fair expectations aligned with the chosen room category and the transparent information provided at booking. Regards, Hotel's management team.
