Dear Barbara, Greetings from TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am disappointed to hear that your beach holiday was not up to your expectations, particularly with the low tide. I would like to remind you that being located on the east coast of the island, it is a natural occurrence to experience tidal changes every 6 hours. In regards to the sea urchin and seaweed, I want to assure you that these are seasonal occurrences and do not persist for long periods. Our guests who visited us in December can attest to this, as the conditions on the beach have changed. It is important for the benefit of other readers to note that the ocean is not overrun with sea urchins and broken corals. During low tide, you can safely explore the reef and shallow waters with appropriate footwear and witness the beauty of nature. Our waters are teeming with starfish, various species of fish and other sea creatures. We kindly advise against removing the starfish from the water, as this can cause harm to them. I was under the impression that my colleagues from Guest Relations had contacted you, and that the TUI Representative offered you the option to relocate to another hotel. However, you decided to stay and indicated that everything was fine. I regret if the pool was not to your liking, as it appears too small and not visually appealing. To clarify, the high grating in the pool is for the safety of children and to provide peace of mind for parents. Regarding activities, we have a variety of options available and you can consult the BLUE App to plan your days. Most activities can be booked 7 days in advance. It's good to hear that you enjoyed the food on themed evenings and that our staff was friendly and helpful. I am also pleased that you found your room to be comfortable.
