Das 6. und letzte mal. Ich war mit meinen Töchtern vor einigen Jahren dort. Damals war es sehr schön - jetzt ist das nur noch ein schlechter Witz. Ein der (noch) schönsten Riffs wird aus reiner Profitgier geopfert. Das Hotel ausgebucht mit Leuten die zum Teil schon morgens anfangen zu saufen. Jeden Abend finden irgendwelche Shows statt mit bescheuerter Musik in einer Lautstärke das man erst ab 22.00 Uhr Ruhe hat.
Wir haben als Freunde gebucht. Jeder ein Zimmer. Bei Ankunft, Mitten in der Nacht wurden uns 2 Zimmer zugewiesen, komplett in unterschiedlichen Teilen. Das Zimmer meiner Freundin hatte keinen Wasserkocher, keinen Kühlschrank mit Blick auf die Müllhalde. Am nächsten morgen haben wir uns beschwert, uns wurde ein Family Room angeboten den wir dann "aus Not" nahmen (mit Blick auf Poolbar). Wir hatten dann jeden Abend volle Lautstärke von der Animation. Eines mittags dann die Onkelz aus den Lautsprechern an der Bar, nicht gegen die Onkelz - aber mir hats gelangt. Achso: Die Lampen im Family Room waren so dunkel (Hälfte ging gar nicht) , so dass man nicht mal nen Buch lesen konnte im Zimmer.
Das Essen war einigermaßen gut und abwechslungsreich. Dafür gab es dort eine Menge Gäste die konnten nicht mal mit Messer und Gabel essen. Unglaublich. Atmosphäre wie in einer Bahnhofshalle. Dafür soffen dann morgens beim Frühstück irgendwelche Leute Whiskey aus Plastikbechern am Tisch.
Ich war schon 5 mal dort - aber so schlecht war der Service beim Essen noch nie. Ein Freund sagte mir das sie den größten Teil des Personals ausgewechselt haben. Genau so war es. Ein paar die "Alten" vom Service die ich noch kannte bestätigten das. Der House Keeping Service war immer gut, immer alles sauber.
Das Riff ist noch schön. Wenn nicht irgendwelche "Besoffenen" sich auf das Riffdach stellen würden. Das Management macht nichts damit das Riff geschützt wird. Der Steg ist vor ein paar Jahren zusammengebrochen, wird nicht erneuert.

Die Freizeitangebote wie "immer". Man kann Ausflüge machen, Gute Quad Touren direkt am Strand buchen.

Dear guest Sunny greetings from Utopia beach club First of all we would like to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback coming from your last stay in Utopia beach club and also for your comment even negative but we appreciate your opinion and we have to apologize if you did not enjoy your last stay as you have planned but as you know that the actual situation in Utopia beach club due to Corona virus and you know that after Corona virus we will back to the normal situation as was before , different nationalities specially from West Europa this situation not only in Utopia beach club but in all hotels on the Red sea . Secondly about the check in normally if we receive room request the front office make his best to realize this request as hotel availability and in the same time we give the room as hotel voucher ,if we receive the same booking number for two rooms we provide two rooms beside each other or at least in the floor . About the jetty first of all this jetty does not belong to Utopia beach club but to the neighbor hotel the other management has tried to renew the jetty or building new one in co operation with Utopia beach club but it take a long time to get the environment permit they still try , the second point you have mentioned about coral protection that the hotel management does not care about the coral not true as we value the house reef we do our best to protect it by putting different signs with different languages on the beach clearing the entrance points to the sea , the life guard continue controlling all guests , all beach boys take care that some one walk on the coral warning him if he continue he will be punished getting his room number and paying 50 Euro in the reception , telling all travel agents representatives to inform all guests not walking on the coral , we thank you for caring about Utopia beach club house reef and we do our best to protect it . About the animation shows were loud we apologize to you , but as you know that the shows till maximal 22:30 , we will do our best to reduce the volume in order to satisfy all Utopia beach club guests. About hotel staff the hotel management try to keep the old staff as we know the strong relationship between the old staff and the repeaters , but as you know due to Corona virus the hotel was closed for short period due to Egyptian rules the staff instead of staying at home they have tried to find another job or another place ,after opening was so difficult for them to come back,but till now the majority of the old staff still working in all hotel areas .
