Essence Arenal

Schönes gemütliches Hostel, mit gutem Restaurant. Um die Gegend zu erkunden und ein bisschen zu entspannen ist es perfekt. Zu dem Areal gehört auch noch ein großer Garten mit Pool, der allerdings 15 Minuten entfernt ist. Es ist idyllisch gelegen und rudimentär eingerichtet. Das Restaurant ist ein wunderbarer Aufenthaltsort. Das Hostel selbst erreicht man nur mit einem Auto über eine Schotterstraße mit einigen Schlaglöchern - ohne Geländewagen würde ich davon abraten.

This Boutique Hostel is about one hour away from La Fortuna on the west side of Volcano Arenal. 4x4 is highly recommended to go there because it's just a rough dirt road - but you need to go there! The garden is beautiful with lots of flowers and an amazing lake & volcano view. The restaurant offers great vegetarian meals and you can cook together with the other guests one part of the daily dinner.
