Das Akasha Hotel in Hersonissos liegt traumhaft schön am Strand. Es hat insgesamt drei Poolbereiche. Den Hauptpool und einen Pool oben auf dem Dach. Auch einen Indoor Pool, der sehr klein ausfällt. Dazu gibt es Sauna und Dampfbad und ein Fitnessstudio. Für Sport liebende ausreichend. Negativ ist der Hauptpool. Dort werden ab 9:00 Uhr alle liegen von Briten und Deutschen und anderen Gästen sofort mit Handtuch belegt. Was laut Hotelaushang eigentlich nicht statthaft wäre. Im Allgemeinen lag das Hotel sehr in britischer Hand. Ohne Englisch kommt man hier nicht weiter. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr nett und der Gast kann zufrieden sein. Das Buffet ist reichlich und abwechselnd und Freizeitmöglichkeiten können über die TUI gebucht werden. Für Kinder ist dieses Hotel eigentlich nicht zu empfehlen da keine Spielplatzmöglichkeiten oder Ähnliches vorhanden sind. Auch kam ein wenig der Eindruck, dass nur Leute dort sind um sich selbst zu fotografieren um sich unter anderem auf Instagram zu inszenieren. Das Benehmen, der zahlreichen Gäste, am Frühstücks – sowie Abend Buffet, lies teilweise zu wünschen übrig.
