Eine kleine Anlage mit ca. 100 Zimmern / Bungalows die aber leider sehr weit vom Schuss liegt. Zudem wahr das Essen sehr grenzwertig bzw. gewöhnungbedürftig.

  • Warum man Boxspringbetten benutzt die man unterhalb praktisch nicht säubern kann bleibt mir ein Rätsel. Allerdings waren die Matratzen gut. Der Knaller war aber das Bad. Es wurde uns noch angepriesen als "Upgrade", war aber ein architektonisches Desaster. Es war eine freie Dusche ohne Tür. Da aber der Boden in keinster Weise schräg war lief das Wasser praktisch durchs ganze Bad. Zudem verstopfte der Abfluss im Rekordtempo. Der Badetuchhalter war direkt über dem WC, das heißt wenn man nachts aufs Klo musste erschreckte man sich erst mal weil einem die Tücher ins Gesicht klappten. Der Wasserhahn vom Waschbecken war derart verkalkt, dass das Wasser überall hinspritzte, nur nicht in die Hand oder den Zahnbecher. Der Kühlschrank funktionierte, die Klimaanlage kostete (auch für All-Inclusive-Urlauber) 5 Euro pro Tag. Die Anlage liegt genau zwischen der alten und der neuen "National-Road", also gab es Verkehrslärm. Das ist allerdings praktisch in der gesamten Gegend so.

  • Was soll ich sagen? Wenn man sich im Supermarkt Wurst und Käse kauft um die am Morgen zu essen sollte eigentlich alles gesagt sein. Es gab zum Frühstück immer die selben zwei Sorten Wurst und ein eine Sorte Käse. Auch abends war die Auswahl sehr übersichtlich und zudem meist lauwarm bis kalt. Das Mittagessen haben wir genau einmal "genossen". Wer Diät leben möchte ist hier richtig.

  • Also freundlich waren alle beim Personal. Einige kuckten zwar etwas grimmig, waren aber auch nett. Ich hätte auch noch eine fünfte Sonne gegeben, aber da auf unsere Anfrage das Zimmer bis 16 Uhr behalten zu können (statt Checkout um 11) wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass nochmal "many guests" kommen würden und wir das Zimmer nur bis 13 Uhr haben könnten. Dennoch war unser Zimmer um kurz vor 16 Uhr immer noch nicht gereinigt.

  • Die Fahrt zum Hotel betrug 1 Stunde, zurück 1,5 Stunden. Das wird erst richtig heiter wenn der neue Flughafen 2025 eröffnet. In der fußläufigen Nähe (das ist für uns alles mit ca. 300m) gab es 2 Mini-Supermärkte, 2 Tavernen und ein winziger Strand der bis ca. 14 Uhr fast nur im Schatten lag. Der nächste "Ort" (Platanis) ist knappe 3 km entfernt, aber dort gibt es wenigstens Tavernen, Läden, Supermärkte und einen Strand der den Namen verdient. Das nächste Ausflugsziel war Rethymno mit 10 km und das Kloster Arkadi mit 14 km Entfernung. Letzteres lässt sich aber nur mit dem Auto erreichen.

    Der Strand in der Nähe des Hotels war etwa eine gute Liegestuhllänge breit, wir sind deshalb immer Richtung Platanis gelaufen um da einen vernünftigen Strand zu haben. Körper weg vom Pool. Der wurde von Tag zu Tag trüber, war nicht gechlort. Wir haben mit "einer Gästin" gesprochen, die war drin und hatte am nächsten Hautausschlag.

It is very important for us to know the opinions of our guests as the main goal of our family business is to improve our facilities and services year by year in order to respond even more to the real needs and wishes of each guest. However, even your comment is welcome by us like every guest's comment, positive or negative, we would like to respond to what you mention about our hotel as things are not as you describe them. Of course is your subjective point of you like in every guest's comment. First of all our hotel situated exactly in the middle of the island and the distance between the two airports in Heraklion and Chania is almost the same. Probably the new airport in combination with the new highway that is going to be constructed the following years will make the distances easier and our life generally but at this time the position of our hotel is the ideal for every guest because you are in the middle and if you wish to rent a car you may travel everywhere in Crete. The region that the hotel situated is called " Pigianos Kampos" and together with "Adelianos Kampos" and "Platanias" as you correctly state, are the most famous touristic areas of the city. There are many shops, many restaurants, tavernas, bars, coffee places, etc that you can visit by walking 15 minutes from our hotel, or by bus- the bus station is exactly at the entrance of the hotel or even by taxi, the easily you may apply to the reception in order to call you. About the rooms, as we read in your comment you didnt like the beds of the hotel that have been constructed 5 years before in 2017. So we speak about new beds, designed in a new style and way like the most of the hotel have. We are happy that you were satisfied with our matresses and you enjoy your sleep. Especially about the baths, as your refer in your comment, its true that these baths renovated in 2019 and all are constructed with the new design, "Walk in Shower". Of course during your shower, if the water goes out of the floor of the shower place, that this can happen in every shower generally, it will need maximum 1 or less than a minute in order the water in the floor to leave the siphon. In addition, the sand in our legs after the sea or even the hair can very easily full the siphon of the shower. In this case you may ask in reception to fix it directly.But as we remember you never came to reception to report this kind of problem in your room or ask to fix something. During the vacations of every guest, it can happen any problem in the room but in order the reception to give a solution and to fix it, first need to know it and the guest to refer it as a problem. About the water of the sink, to be honest we try to understand what exactly was the problem. About the towel rack is located between the door of the bathroom and the basin. Is between not above the basin so its not possible to create you any problem. Generally, every renovation that we do in our hotel the last 4 years, is under the technical study of our civil enginner and our architect who design every renovation according to the space of each room and bathroom. The air condition is under charge as you refer but this is an information that you can get before your arrival in the hotel from your tour operator or in our official website. So you may choose before your arrival or even before book our hotel and you can decide before about this policy of our hotel. Regarding the road noise that you also mention about, all the area between these 3 touristic places, "Pigianos Kampos" , "Adelianos Kampos" , "Platanias" is constructed between the new highway and the old road. So again this is not a problem of the hotel as you refer. Regarding your reference about the service of our hotel, we would like to thank you that you appreciate the effort and the hard work of our staff in order to provide the best services for every guest, but absolutely disagree with your desicion to rate us negatively because we did not permit you to stay in your room till the time of your departure. Normally the check out in every hotel according to the covid-19 guidelines is 11:00 in the morning. We permit you as an upgrade from the hotel to stay in your room till 13:00 without any extra charge or any day use that we normally receive from every guest who want to keep after 11:00 the room. Unfortunately, as a "thank you" by your side we receive your negative review. The daily housekeeping, according to the departures and the arrivals of the hotel is planned by the hotel according to the rules and according to the schedule of every cleaning woman that start to work from the morning and at a special time must finish her work. So it is not possible every guest to keep the room till the time that he we wants. But in your case the hotel gave you the chance to keep your room 2 our more after the normal check out. About the food, we understand that again your expectations problably were much higher than our hotel as a Greek 3 star hotel can gives. And we insist on this because is not possible in a buffet of a 3 star hotel with fried eggs, boiled eggs, scramble eggs, pancakes, pies, 2 types of sausages (as you well refer) tomato sote, croisants with chocolate and butter croisants, cretan cheese feta, tomato, turkey slices, gouda slices, ham slices, butter, yogurt, fruits, 3 kinds of marmelades, cornflakes, chocoballs, musli cake, toast bread, normal bread, dry bread, sweet cretan buiscuits, honey, nutella, normal milk, almond milk, orange juice, grapefruit juice, coffees and anything else that you want and our staff together with the owners are willing to serve and give immediately, not to be satisfied and to complain that you had only 2 types of sausages. Before you book the hotel you already know that you booked a 3 star hotel and not a 5 star. And this should know every guest before he or she proceed to a booking. You need to know what you book, what is your expectations from the hotel and generally from your holidays and if these expectations the hotel you booked can gives you. And finally what is the value for money performance. Otherwise you must apply to another higher hotel category. In addition there are not many 3 star hotels in Greece that offers 4 different kinds of Cocktails in All Inclusive Package or do live cookings in breakfast or in the dinner. Unfortunately nothing of all this you refer in your review, and your reference is not about the negatives, but what you tried to find as negatives in the hotel. We apologize once more that we did not try to satisfy probably your high expectations. It will be very useful for every hotel when a guest leaves a comment to write his/her opinion about things that could make the hotel better, can real improve the hotel always according to the hotel category. This will help every hotel to be better and generally will be more useful for all the people who work in tourism and less complicated. This is the reason that exists the specific platforms as well.
