Belle Epoque Hotel Victoria

A beautiful building in a typical swiss style, also the interior. Too bad the maintenance of the building is a little outdated. The rooms were clean and spacy. We had a family room with connected doors. Bathroom clean but outdated. Breakfast was not extensive. Coffee was not tasteful! Facilities are good (tenniscourt, indoor swimmingpool, good restaurant, excellent location). A lot of different types of groups (elderly people, families, younger people with outdoor purposes), different nationalities. Prices are expensive but reasonable for swiss terms.

The rooms are spacy and clean. Enough storing space for clothes. Bathroom clean but outdated. Rooms in swiss (outdated) style but nevertheless charming.

Breakfast buffet was not extensive. Boiling eggs was selfservice but water wasn't cooking temperature so you couldn't get the eggs boiled correctly. No scrambled or fried eggs. No fresh juices. On the other hand restaurant for dinner was perfect. Some local dishes but also italian/german-like ones and children menus. Owners of the hotel were very charming and helpfull. Inside and outside very comfortable seats for eating.

Location is excellent. By foot lots of different walking trails, Close to cableway up to the mountains. Grocery and supermarket in the vicinity. Beautiful surroundings. Parking in front of the hotel possible.

Indoor swimming pool. Very warm inside the poolroom. No wellness. We haven't used the kinderbetreuung.
