Wir haben weder in Thailand, Malaysia oder Ägypten ein solch artenreiches und buntes Riff gesehen. Die intakte Korallenvielfalt rund um die Insel ist der Wahnsinn. Wir haben außerdem Schildkröten, verschiedene Haiarten, viele Rochen und riesige Fischschwärme gesehen. Wir würden die Insel allen Unterwasserliebhabern und Aktivurlaubern wärmstens empfehlen.
Die Ausstattung der Räumlichkeiten ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber gepflegt und absolut ausreichend. Wir haben in einem schönen Strandbungalow gewohnt.
Das Essen ist sehr gut und wir haben auch als Vegetarier immer etwas gefunden. Die Speisen sind mit Symbolen beschriftet, sodass man direkt weiß was für einen in Frage kommt. Manchmal ist es etwas scharf, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Falls man Abwechslung vom Buffetrestaurant möchte, hat auch das A la Carte einige vegetarische Gerichte in etwas schickerer Atmosphäre. Es gibt verschiedene wechselnde Themenbuffets, unser Lieblings-Abend war die Sri Lanka Night mit Hoppers. Wir hatten Vollpension gebucht- Wasser ist dabei aber immer inklusive, was uns vollkommen gereicht hat.
Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Besonders unser Lieblingskoch Vipula hat uns mit seiner freundlichen und offenen Art jeden Tag ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert. Er macht zum Frühstück wahre Pancake- Meisterwerke, zum Beispiel Schildkröten, und das beste Omlett der Malediven. Unser persönlicher „ Employee of the Year“ :) Im Service waren Susil, Nishaal und Raishan tolle Gastgeber.
