Dass das Equator Village ein 3 Sterne Resort ist haben wir gewusst und war auch in Ordnung. Was aber zur Zeit absolut inakzeptabel ist, dass sich gleich neben dem Hotel eine Baustelle befindet und von 6 Uhr früh bis Mitternacht gearbeitet wird. Es war eine wahnsinnige Lärmbelästigung, die uns extrem gestört hat. Hat leider mit traumhaftem Malediven Feeling nichts zu tun.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the noise around the hotel during your visit. We understand how frustrating it can be to have your peace and relaxation disturbed by external factors. However, we would like to clarify that the noise was not from an ongoing project from the hotel, but from a rock unloading project for Addu reclamation development project. This was a temporary and unavoidable situation that was beyond our control. We had no prior notice or information about this project from the authorities.
