Dear Uli, Thank you for your review and for choosing us for your dream holiday. We appreciate your feedback and we are sorry that we were not able to meet your expectations. We are happy that you felt like our rooms were clean to normal standard, and that you found some of our staff were friendly. We are also glad that you enjoyed the food and the pool for children. We strive to provide quality service and facilities for our guests, and we are always looking for ways to improve. We categorize our hotel as preserving the history and unique charm of the island, and we hope that you can appreciate the value and the character of our hotel. We understand that our hotel may not suit everyone’s taste, but we assure you that we have done our best to upgrade and maintain our hotel since it was built in 1956. We are sad to know that some staff expect tips, but unfortunately this is not our policy. We believe that tips are a way of showing appreciation and gratitude for the service and the hospitality that our staff provide, but they are not mandatory or expected.
