Hotel Europe

We were the only guests in this hotel, and from the moment we arrived, there was a strong, sharp, slightly sweet odor throughout the entire place. It was extremely unpleasant. We left the room, aired it out for hours with the balcony doors wide open, but when we returned, the smell was still overwhelming. Unfortunately, we only read the reviews afterward and found that for over 14 years, guests have been reporting this exact issue. After a short time in the room, both of us developed runny noses, coughing, breathing problems, severe headaches that kept worsening, and nausea. We simply couldn’t tolerate it. On top of that, when removing the bed covers, every single mattress had visible urine stains. We ended up leaving the hotel at 1:30 AM because it was impossible to sleep there. The receptionist offered us another room, but we insisted on seeing it first—and it had the same unbearable smell. The entire hotel smelled. We didn’t even stay one night and had to book another hotel immediately, which caused us additional costs. The receptionist said there was nothing else he could do and could not guarantee a refund. We were told the manager would be available the next day, so I left my phone number and asked to be contacted—but I never received a call. We were later given the manager’s number and tried to reach him over 20 times and even sent messages via WhatsApp, but he never responded. We were completely ignored. This place is a disaster. We would not recommend it to anyone. The only positive was that the reception staff were friendly

Urinflecken auf allen Matratzen und gesundheitsschädlicher Gestank im ganzen Hotel, Bügelset gabs auch keins wie angegeben… haben dort nicht geschlafen und sofort ein anderes Hotel gebucht.
