Dear Stefan, Thank you for sharing your feedback following your recent stay with us. We truly value all guest opinions as they help us continuously improve our services. Regarding the cleaning of your room, we would like to clarify that our housekeeping team services the rooms regularly, and there is no record of your room being cleaned only once. We always encourage guests to report any issues directly to our reception during their stay so we can address them immediately. It is disappointing to hear that you felt this way, yet no report was made to give us the opportunity to resolve the issue on the spot. As for the restaurant, we are somewhat confused by your description. The hotel is located on a hill, and the restaurant, while on a lower level compared to the main entrance, offers a beautiful sea view. Upon entering the hotel, you will notice that the reception area is located on the first floor and has a balcony, and there are steps leading down to the sea, which means the restaurant is indeed on a lower floor with sea views, not in a basement. Similarly, to reach the pool bar, guests must also descend some steps, so it is interesting that you found one area to be perceived as a basement while the pool bar was not, despite their relative positions in the hotel. We also note your differing opinions on the service in the morning versus the pool bar. In fact, much of the same staff works both shifts to ensure consistent quality of service. We strive to provide the same level of hospitality throughout the day, and it is surprising to hear there was such a distinction in your experience. Lastly, in regard to the food, it appears you preferred the dishes at the pool bar, which featured grilled items, compared to the more traditional cooked dishes served in the restaurant. We understand that personal tastes differ, and we respect your preferences. Greek cuisine does offer a variety of dishes, including those with sauces and cooked meals, which some guests may not prefer as much. We appreciate your comments and the opportunity to clarify these points. We remain at your disposal should you wish to discuss anything further or if you have any additional feedback. Kind regards, Hotel Ilyssion Management Team
