Die Unterkunft ist stehts gepflegt. Wir waren zum 3. mal dort. Doch leider gibt es auch negative Aspekte. Die vorher fest verschlossenen Trinkflaschen auf dem Zimmer die kostenlos sind. Wurden durch wiederauffüllbare Flaschen erstzt. Man hat keinen Nachweis mehr an der Flasche, ob diese Wirklich vorher richtig verschlossen gewesen sei. In einem Land, in dem man das Leitungswasser nicht unbedingt trinken oder verwenden sollte. Finde ich dies als keine Nutzvolle Umweltaktion. Wir haben das Wasser in der Flasche an Tag 1 & 2 getrunken. Hatten sofort Probleme und mussten sogar den Arzt aufsuchen. Wir haben sage und schreiben 2500,00 € an Arztkosten bezahlen müssen. Vor Ort wurde unser anliegen über den Arzt eig. nicht wirklich ernst genommen. Auf die Hohen kosten angesprochen und wie man dies bezahlen solle, wurde nur die Schultern hochgezogen. Die Preise beim Arzt, werden weder vorher kommuniziert noch ist ein Aushang vorhanden. Uns klingt das leider wirklich sehr nach abzocke. Das hat das Hotel und der sehr bemüte Personal im Restaurant und am Pool vor Ort eig. nicht verdient. Die erste Frage beim Arzt ist, ob man eine Reiseversicherung hat. Das kommt sehr so rüber als ob man dann extra die kosten nach oben schiebt. Für uns war das auf alle Fälle der letzte Urlaub in Ägypten. Das mit den Trinkflaschen, sollte dringend abgeschafft werden!!

Concerning your comment about water, we would like to note that the hotel has made a conscious decision to remove plastic water bottles from the resort, in order to protect the environment and reduce its plastic waste. However, we do provide complimentary water in the rooms, coming in glass water bottles. We would also like to highlight that the water provided is arriving from a German company using international water filtration system. Furthermore, we are conducting regular tests according to a precise action plan, both from our in-house hygiene team and from outside well-known company Cristal, to ensure 100% quality standard. We are sorry that you did not feel well during your stay, however we would like to advise that hygiene is the number one priority to us and we have a clear and precise action plan to ensure that high levels are met. Everything to do with health and safety is monitored by a leading UK health and safety advisor named Crystal who carry out audits on everything relating to your safety including food and drink (checked items include delivery, storage, preparation, cooking, presentation, all machinery used, as well as samples of the food and drink). We have the documentation to prove that our hotel is operating in a safe and hygienic way as we always score in the extremely high level. In fact we are so confident of our high levels of hygiene that, when guests are reporting illness, we offer them a free stool analysis at the local hospital in order that everyone can be assured that the sickness is just the usual result of too much sun, change of temperature, change of food, change of cooking style, overeating, over-drinking, shocking the stomach with ice-cold drinks, mixing the wrong type of foods together, change of diet, etc, etc. Obviously, the personal tolerance of an individual plays a large part in their well-being, especially during the hot summer months when day temperatures exceed 35+ degrees. With regards to the doctor's charges, we would like to highlight that this is not actually run by the hotel but is a service that we give you availability to. Any charges are agreed between yourself and the doctor before treatment begins. Usually, it is dealt with directly through your insurance. However, if it is not the case, the guests pay up front to the clinic, but are able to get the amount reimbursed from their insurance company in their home country. We would like to note that you have received all necessary documentation and medical records/reports with which you will be able to get the amount reimbursed through your insurance. We would also like to highlight that you spoke to Guest Relation two times during your stay and you received the necessary assistance.
