Weit und breit nur 2 kleine Supermärkte und eine Bar, die Liegen am Strand (=kleine Bucht die nach Urin stinkt) sind mit tgl. 2,50 € pro Person zu bezahlen, Miete für den Safe im Zimmer 15 € pro Woche plus 40 € Kaution, Zimmermädchen klopfen NIE an, Warteschlangen vor dem Speisesaal aufgrund des starken Andrangs und der zuwenigen und kleinen Tische, kleiner Supermarkt im Hotel sehr teuer. Wir werden dieses Hotel sicher nicht mehr buchen.

Dear Sir / Madam, Good morning - "KALIMERA" from Kresten Palace. First of all we would sincerely like to thank you so much for taking some of your time in order to send this review. We check every day the www.holidaycheck.de website, as it is our policy to always check the feedback from our guests and try to improve our product continuously. Just a clarification, that for a safety box the charge is 14,- euros per week and 15,-euros for Kaution. Regarding the situation with the Kresten Royal rooms, just to inform you that, all the rooms that we currently use are 100% ready. Nothing is missing and for sure there are no open holes in the rooms or unconnected cables. If you refer to a 5cm opening in the bath room's ceiling which is scheduled for a music device (in our opinion that should not be a reason for disatisfaction). All the rooms have 26'' or 32'' LCD Sat-TVs, Jacuzzi bathtub, sofa area, direct sea view and the majority of them also has a private sw. pool. Indeed for some days in the beginning of August, due to some unscheduled delivery situation, we had a shortage of some of the equipment, in certain rooms, (very few though) but after a couple of days, everything was fine. For sure, we do have very positive comments from the guests who stay in those rooms, (brand new and with private pool, etc) and even some of the guests who stay in the Kresten Palace rooms, do request to be accommodated in such a room, as they consider it as a free upgrade. This was also the main idea behind this choice of ours, to use those rooms, just only for this summer for Kresten Palace guests, in order to offer even better services. In addition, there is also the option for our guests to change to a Kresten Palace room, if they wish. Regarding the meals, of course have already have more staff and more equipment in all our departments, in order to cope with this situation and we already also have extended the meals time schedule, but it is not possible (for example, for everybody to eat at... 20.30hrs, the restaurant is open from 18.00 until 21.30 hrs). Take also in account that August, is the month that almost everybody likes to travel, so all the hotels are more or less a bit full. In spite of all the above, be sure that the positive and very high ratings for our hotel are quite genuine and of course Kresten Palace is not only some of the new rooms, what about all the other guests who are really satisfied, even if they do not write a review. Kresten Palace is a well know highly rated hotel because its base and heart are its guests. That is why we do have a really high rate of guests-friends who visit "their hotel - their home" even several times during the season, to see and feel our "true-family-style" hospitality, during their stay here with us. We are indeed really sorry and we deeply apologize for not being able to show you our real picture, thank you again for your time and kind interest and for sure we are looking forward to welcome you again some time in the near future, if possible, in order to be able to change your opinion about us.
