short: very unfriendly, very dirty, facilities not as advertised, ants in restaurant, no paper at toilet long: We did not get what was advertised in the booking at booking.com. There was no television at our room, no aircondition (only a old fan), no internet, no private bathroom (not even on our floor, had to go downstairs). But most disgusting was that the place was really dirty! There where hair in every room (rented two rooms) and the bathroom. Next to our bed on the floor was used dental floss. There even were cockroaches in our room. Other than advertised we had a kitchen but it was really dirty as well. There was dirt in the sink and the trash of our predecessors had not been removed. When we complained about all that the manager told us it wasn't his fault, because booking.com overbooked the place and he didn't have any other option. Regarding the dirt he didn't apologize either and accused us why we didn't complain the night we arrived (we arrived at night and saw some of the dirt the other morning). So there was not even a little apology and his statement was: "You paid 50 Euros, what to you expect". We expected at least a clean place, but then you shouldn't stay at Locanda Portegrandi. Oh yeah and the breakfast was a (yes one) croissant. Underneath our table were hell of a lot ants carrying away food that lay on the floor. The friendly waitress cleaned the ants away immediately after our child saw them and screamed but hey, what does this and the cockroach in our room tell you about the cleanliness of this place? We would never ever return there.
