Personal super. Zimmer sauber, 2 mal am Tag geputzt. Ganz besonderen Dank an den Kelner im Hauptrestourant Shareef. Er hatte die Hälfte vom Restaurant im Blick, hat schnell bedient und nie vergessen mir ein neues Getränk zu holen. In einem preiswerteren Hotel auf Malediven gab's ein größeren Angebot von frischen Fisch- und Meeresfrüchten Gerichten und exotischen Früchten. Das Essen war oft verkocht und übermäßig mit Soußen übergossen. Am kaltem Buffet eine Hauskakerlake gesichtet. Ich kann es verstehen, dass der Meeresspiegel an Malediven durchschnittlich 1,5 Meter jährlich steigt und für Befestigung des Ufers Sand aus dem Meer gepumpt wird. Aber müssen schwere Röhren, die den Sand zum Ufer transportieren, auf die bestehende Korallen gelegt werden. Koralle sind Lebewesen, in denen viele Meeresbewohner Schutz und Nahrung finden. In der Lagune werden neue Korallen eingebracht während die bestehende Tiere einfach vernichtet werden.
