Nirvana Dolce Vita

When we were looking at this hotel, we liked the description: "Very big territory", however most of the hotel territory is behind the main building, where all the villas are, so nobody goes there. Everyone hangs out in the territory in front of the hotel, which is quite narrow and packed, so when the hotel is fully booked (like it was this time), it's like a soup of people, especially in the restaurants. And kids, kids, kids.. Screaming, yelling, playing, splashing, running around with local cats, animators, etc, EVERYWHERE! Pretty frustrating. The food is ok, nothing special, like in any other Turkish 5* hotels, like in Rixoses f.e., after 5 days all dishes start tasting kinda the same. A very big minus of this hotel is the noisiness, especially in the main buildings (Venice and Portofine corpuses) - right in front is the main pool, where animation conducts all daily activities, with loud music, microphones, etc - forget about taking a day nap, I could hear everything even with earplugs! And that from 10am until 6 pm. Since the hotel is fully booked, all Russians start occupying sun beds (both at the pool and at the beach) starting from 8 am, so if you come by later - won't find a single sun bed. And what's really bad is that they occupy the sun beds, and then never even show up during the day. But we liked evening programme, shows (50/50 were good), evening live music (also 50/50), disco was full with youngsters (17-18 years old). All in all, I would give this hotel 5* -. Hope it helped. P.S. Rixos Sun Gate was overall better (except for the food), but more show off too.
