Sicherlich ein Hotel, dass unter den politischen Verhältnisse in der Welt leidet. Dennoch hat es mich sehr positiv überrascht. Da ich seit über 20 Jahren nach Ägypten reise, sicherlich nicht ganz einfach. Was hier mit den sehr begrenzten Mitteln erreicht wird ist bemerkenswert. Sicherlich kein europäischer Standart (aber wenn ich an die schrott Hotels auf Mallorca denke) geht's dort aktuell leider nicht besser.
Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Wer ADLON Standart möchte muss nach Dubai fliegen und 600 $ für die Nacht bezahlen.
Ich weiß sie konnten es schon besser. Wer aber das arabische und libanesische Essen liebt, kann und sollte auf Pizza, Pasta und Pommes verzichten und findet dort auch was leckeres. Das Wiener Schnitzel und die Currywurst werdet ihr dort vergeblich suchen. Ich als Schwabe und Koch konnte an einem Abend ein Experiment machen. Habe mit Mohammed aus der "Lentilsoup" einfach "Linsen, Spätzla und Saitenwurst (Geflügelwürstchen von sehr guter Qualität) gekocht. Die Ägypter sind ausgeflippt. Vielleicht gibt das jetzt öfters.
Sie versuchen es und haben auch nicht mehr Möglichkeiten. Für einen Sparurlauber aber völlig ausreichend.
Kurzer Weg vom Flughafen zum Hotel max. 10 Minuten. Trotzdem kein Fluglärm. Sicherlich sehr abgelegen, mitten in der Wüste. Aber in der zugehörigen Hafenanlage ist immer was los und für jeden was dabei.

All of the comments you raised in your review have been shared with the management team and I would like to take the time to offer the following feedback. Please note that our team of Chefs are consistently checking and replenishing serving dishes as required for the duration of the meal, furthermore the hotel works with a 7 day rolling menu providing varying International theme dishes and several live cooking stations (pizza, pasta, BBQ grill, salad station) are also available supplementary to the main buffet dishes. The menu includes 5 varieties of fresh fruit available daily and the buffet is always offering a vegetable dish at both lunch and dinner. I am sorry to read that you were not completely satisfied with some points of your stay. These comments have been taken on board by our Manager who will consider all comments for future guests.
