Rama Phala Resort & Spa

The hotel is down the hill in Ubud and not in Downtown Ubud. Therefore it is really quiet and not that noisy. We stayed 2 Weeks in this hotel. The best of the hotel is the quietness and the decoration. Everything in the hotel is arranged with flowers and one have the feeling you are in the jungle. The surrounding is full of rice terraces. Nice view but bring along 1 or 2 gallons of Mosquito repelent with. The room was huge with balkon. The best was the Bathroom. You can take a shower at night outside under the stars. The temperature in Ubud is Rain Rorest, something like 32 Celsius and lots of humidity. The only thing that was really a down point was the Air conditioning (AC). The AC is rather old and is fixed to 20 degrees 20 Degrees Celcius. The service was amaizing. On every corner is someone cleaning something. The room was "refreshed" 3 times a day. The service is really nice and helpful (also shy). The last bad point was the pool. It is beautiful but with tons of algae as there is no chlor in the water as in the US. Nontheless we dive in it every day and it was quite nice. If you are looking for luxurius stay for little money do not come hier. As it is in the Forests, it is common to see even now and then an ant or a little spyder. Nontheless, we had one of the best stays ever and would recomend this hotel to further visits. Good Facts: - Huge room - low price - quite & relax - good service - beautiful infrastructur and pool - Rainforest feeling - Nice Spa - 4 and 5 stars restaurants around the corner - 7Eleven and taxis on the corner - Nature everywhere Bad facts: - AC (Air Conditioning too warm) - pool with algae
