Dear Maik, Hello from riverside Bangkok. We're pleased to read your satisfactory review. We hope we could address some of the issues as the location of the riverside is considered prime. The road in front of the hotel is the first road of Bangkok and international guests appreciate the area bec. people can still experience authentic local lifestyle. Airport is just 32 kms away. Everything is easily accessible by the river for tours. Hotel provides free shuttle boat service to central pier every half an hour and it only takes 7-10 minutes per trip. If you want to go to Silom, it just 3 stops away and Siam is 5 stops away by Bangkok Skytrain. The Asiatique, night bazaar, is just 500m walking distance away from the hotel with nightly shows, good restaurants and numerous souvenir shops. Well, depends what you're looking for but the hotel has a lot to offer for a city stay. Besides our concierge, we also have 2 tour desks where you can book last minutes tours and events. We have nightly Thai music at the lobby from 6-8pm and nightly live piano vocalist at the lobby bar from 8-11pm.
