Extreme schlechte Hygiene!!! Diverse Durchfall Erkrankungen!! Parasitenbefall wurde im Krankenhaus festgestellt: Amöbenruhr (Entamoeba Histolytica und Giardia Intestinalis). Wir beide verbrachten je 1 Tag im Krankenhaus und 2 im Bett.

    Dear Tom, First of all we'd like to thank you for sharing your feedback with us following your recent stay at Le Meridien Dahab resort & SPA . We are sorry to hear that you have been unwell and hope that you have made a full and complete recovery. Gastric problems can be picked up in many ways and it is not always the hotel which is at fault. For example, Le Meridien Dahab resort is our flagship hotel in Dahab and as such, we ensure that it enjoys the best staff we have available and the best quality in everything. So the hygiene standards are also the best. If you ventured out of the hotel complex on an excursion or to see the town., you may well have found that standards are lower there and therefore, you are more likely to pick up the bugs there. It is important to use a sanitizing hand gel before eating as these bugs can occasionally be transferred from hand to mouth after touching something in a public area. You would have seen our staff constantly working in the resort to keep all door handles and public areas etc clean and free of bugs throughout the day, so I stress that, however much we sympathize with you and your brief illness, we do take so many precautions to protect our valued guests from any bugs within our own complex. We would urge you to let us know in advance of your next visit and I will take a personal interest in ensuring that you have the best experience possible.
