For the taxi service, I would like to suggest you to use the application call "GRAB" which works the same way as UBER and it will be an indicate price stated by the time of calling or reservation, with this app there is no hassle worry about price negotiation and also have the tracking record which can be very useful for you next time when return to Bangkok.
