Side Mare Resort & Spa

The hotel is very nice, clean and has all you need inhouse. It is clean and looks well maintained. We had an all-inclusive arrangement which was ideal for us and the kids. Reception area more pro-active Cleaning and filling more on predicable times and with predictable results

Big enough, clean, looks recently renovated. We had an airco, minibar (free), terras, safe, phone, etc.

Nice food, lots of choices, clean, what can we say!

The friendliness of the personell was variable. At the reception, staff generally did exactly what was asked, but did not anticipate additional or related issues. In the bar/restaurant area, staff acted promptly and friendly. The room cleaning was somewhat strange, refilling of minibar and toiletarticles was not done consistenly, which caused some extra work for us. Unfortunately we had to see the hotel doctor, who acted decisive and helped solve the problem. Staff speaks German well and bit of English and Dutch.

The hotel is away from the beach, and is situated in a quite area. Since it is closed, the kids could freely walk around and find their way. There is a shuttle bus for the beach (which anyway is a 10 min walk). We did not like the beach..... However, it is easy to go to the 2 nearby town and do some strolling around.

Very good animation staff from Germany and the Netherlands. We liked it, and more importantly the children. They loved the animators!!!! Also, great minidisco which our kids liked. Further a good SPA, we booked some massages which were great and to me (regularly taking massages) belonged to the top of the world (ask for Nevin if you like it strong).
