Die 1956 erbaute Panagia Dexia steht in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft des antiken Galeriusbogens und modernen Hochhäusern. Bei der Vielzahl von Kirchen, deren Geschichte bis in byzantinische Zeit zurückreicht, mag diese moderne Kirche zunächst nicht so interessant erscheinen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich aber durchaus, den es gibt dort faszinierende Wandmalereien.
