Infos Strand Cocles
Der öffentliche Strand "Playa Cocles" liegt etwa 1,5 Kilometer südöstlich von Puerto Viejo. Der etwa zwei Kilometer lange, mit hellgrauem Sand bedeckte Strand gilt als schönster Badestrand der karibischen Küste. Wegen seiner schnell brechenden Wellen ist er bei Surfern beliebt, aufgrund von Unterströmumgen jedoch stellenweise zum Baden gefährlich.
