Schönes Hotel mit Komfort, sehr gutem Service und sehr freundlichem Personal. Transfer vom Flughafen ca 40 Minuten mit dem hoteleigenem Speedboat (bei Wellengang sehr schaukelige Angelegenheit). Zu unserer Zeit waren Westeuropäer und Asiaten dort. Auf Bodu Hithi ist man der offiziellen Malezeit eine Stunde voraus, damit man am Nachmittag den Tag noch eine Stunde länger geniessen kann. Die Islandvillen waren komfortabel eingerichtet, mit allem was man sich wünscht. Haben vorab unseren Villawunsch per E-mail an das Hotel geschickt mit der Bitte um eine Villa zwischen 321-330. Bei Ankunft bekamen wir erst Villa 338 auf der Sonnenuntergangsseite, da alle Villen auf der Sonnenaufgangsseite belegt waren. Auf der Sonnenuntergangsseite war der Strand ca 1 Meter breit, viele Sandsäcke und mehr Wellengang. Am zweiten Tag bekamen wir dann unsere Wunschvilla 325. Die Lage war für uns optimal – sehr breiter Strand, viel Vegetation, ruhiges Wasser und einfach traumhaft schön. Adapter sind in den Villen nicht notwendig. Gratis Zubehör für Ipod kann man sich an der Rezeption leihen. Das einzige negative was uns aufgefallen ist sind die abgenutzten Handtücher und die kaputten Knöpfe an der Bettwäsche. In der Nähe des Generators riecht man Dieselgestank, aber der Lärm ist nicht störend. Das Essen war sehr gut (kreolisch, europäisch u. asiatisch) – immer für jeden was dabei. Zum Schnorcheln ist die Insel optimal. Sehr schönes Hausriff mit vielen verschiedenen bunten Fischen, Schildkröten, Haien und Rochen. In der Tauchschule gibt es seit kurzem keinen deutsch sprechenden Tauchlehrer mehr, da er zurück nach Ägypten gegangen ist, aber englisch ist kein Problem. Ansonsten gibt es ein gutes Spa - und Sportangebot. Es werden verschiedene Ausflüge angeboten, von denen wir aber keinen genutzt haben. Für uns war es ein perfekter Urlaub. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.
