Dimitrios Village Beach Resort

Dear Rocco, Frist of all we would like to thank you for taking the time to post a review about Dimitrios Village Hotel on Holidaycheck. We were really sad to read that you were not satisfied with your holidays with us and it was a surprise to read that you didn't find our hotel staff friendly and helpful. The majority of our guests are totally satisfied with the service from the staff in all the hotel areas and many of the reviews can proof that. It was also very disappointing to read that you found the hotel not clean enough. Our housekeeping ladies do a very hard job and they work with us many years. We are proud to say that all our guests are totally satisfied with the cleaning service in the rooms and the hotel in general. Maybe the time you came (October) was windy and raining and as a result there were many tree leaves on the floor, because Dimitrios Village Hotel is surrounded by different kind of trees and plants, but we are sure, when the weather condition was better our cleaning ladies did their best, so the hotel will be clean again all around. About the cats in the restaurant. It is not allowed to enter the restaurant, but many times, kids from our guests feed the pets and play with them, so we see many times cats to sit around and wait for food. We say to our guests not to feed them so, eventually they will go away, but kids are kids.... On the other hand, we would like to thank you for your positive comments on the restaurant's terrace and the magnificant view. We were happy to read that you liked our All Inclusive buffets, because there is always a variety of food, so everybody can find something to eat. Another thank you we would like to add on your positive comments about the surroundings of the hotel and the good tips you give to future guests when the visit the old town of Rethymno. Every year part of the hotel is going to be renovated. Last year it was the reception area, this year the whole appartment area will change. Please allow us to express our sincerest apologies for any inconveniences that you experienced during your stay and we look forward to welcoming you back to our new and improved hotel.
