Das Hotel wirkt sicher nicht sehr modern, aber der Garten und die gesamte Gestaltung sorgen für eine sehr private Atmosphäre. Die kurze Entfernung zum Flughafen (ohne Ruhestörung) ist sicher ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Das Personal ist äußerst zuvorkommend auch wenn deutsch keine bevorzugte Sprache ist. Frühstück und Abendessen vom Buffet waren ausreichend und boten eine gewisse Abwechslung.
Das Hotel liegt oberhalb von Canico. Wir haben mit dem Mietwagen 15min vom Flughafen gebraucht. Es gibt einen Supermercado gleich nebenan und ein paar einfache Cafés in unmittelbarer Nähe. Weiter unterhalb ist der Ort sehr viel schöner, es gibt in ca 1,5km Entfernung sogar eine Seilbahn hinunter zum Strand. Ausgewählte Wanderungen kann man direkt vom Hotel aus starten.
