Very nice and cude hotel directly at a small harbour and great view on Pico mountain. Most rooms have sea views. However very noisy at night time with the restaurant operation just below the room window (+generator closeby running all night long and street lights shining directly into the room-> bring ear plugs). Breakfast staff helpful and friendly but (evening) restaurant staff a catastrophy! Although they pretend to be nice it takes ages until being served even if you give them signs. After a first long waiting time on day 1 we tried another 2 times later to order something but after we were ignored on both occasions we went somewhere else. Our hint: go try family owned cafe Rinitha (or similar) down the road left to the playground. We had fresh authentic local food which was delicious. Very good value for money too...
